For admission in these courses candidates must qualify an Entrance Exam conducted annually by the Board of Technical Education, Uttar Pradesh. The Board of Technical Education works under the aegis of the Directorate of Technical Education. It is also known as UP Polytechnic Examination or the  Joint Entrance Examination  Council Uttar Pradesh.

How to apply for BTEUP Entrance Exam

The candidate should visit the official website of BTEUP Entrance Exam (https://jeecup.admissions.nic.in/ ) and select the online application form for the UP polytechnic entrance examination. The application form that opens up needs to be filled in as per the instructions. The applicant needs to make payment the application fee online. The payment receipt along with the application form and other required documents must be sent to the address specified in the brochure. Applications must reach the office on or before the specified last date.



BTEUP Entrance Exam Pattern

The BTEUP Entrance Exam pattern is set of objective questions with multiple choice answers and is conducted in both English and Hindi. The questions are based on the part of the syllabus of 10th Standard. The question paper contains 120 questions of 120 marks (each question is of one mark). There are 30 questions (30 Marks) in Physics, 30 questions (30 Marks) in Chemistry and 60 questions (60 Marks) in Mathematics. The candidates who score the minimum passing marks are declared to be qualified.
